Policies

Privacy Policy:  DSUniversity neither sells nor gives your private information to any other party without your express permission.

Designation Use Policy: The CDSP™ designation will only grow more valuable as the standards for attaining and maintaining it increase. Initially, those who successfully complete two (2) DSU seminars, Core Course #1: "Success Selling Government Property" and DSU Core Course #2: "Best Practices in the REO/ORE Business," with a final examination score of 80% or higher, are eligible to proudly display their certificates and use the CDSP™ or Certified Default Services Professional™ terminology on their business materials. DSUniversity maintains a data base of CDSPs and makes available information to major Clients seeking the assistance that our graduates are qualified to provide. Those CDSPs who wish to be promoted to Clients as professionals with this achievement agree to abide by the rules of use and to submit updated or additional information, or take additional courses in order to continue to be included in the data base and in order to continue to display the designation. Such rules of use, as well as updates to the courses and required level of achievement, may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of DSUniversity.

Refund Policy: DSUniversity endeavors to provide up-to-the-minute content taught by the most experienced, accredited instructors at a location that is both convenient and cost-effective for our participants. The goal is to achieve the lowest possible prices while maintaining the highest standards of educational quality. If a registered participant must cancel prior to ten (10) days before the first day of the session, a $100 fee is charged and the balance is returned by check within thirty (30) days. No refunds are granted within ten (10) days of the session for which the registration was made. With prior notice to DSU, the paid registration may be transferred to another participant. As an alternative to cancellation or transfer, the registrant may postpone his or her attendance to a later session. The full amount of payment will apply to any other session scheduled within one (1) year. If prices rise above the amount originally paid, the registrant must pay the additional difference prior to attending the session.

Copyright Policy: Materials provided and visual presentations shown to the participants in DSUniversity courses are for the sole use of the person who has registered and paid for the course. No copying, reproducing in any form, or sharing of the information and materials is allowed without the prior written consent of the author, instructor, or administrator associated with DSUniversity. Attendees are required to acknowledge and agree to maintain control of their materials and adhere to these policies.

Attendance Policy: Major national Clients have contributed to the content of the DSUniversity courses or have endorsed the quality of the instructional materials and instructors. It is their expectation that DSU graduates, especially those who earn the CDSP™ designation, have completed the classroom hours in attendance and have fully participated in the interactive and informative examples, case studies, and review quizzes. Any course participant who leaves a DSU training session early, or who is absent for a substantial amount of time during the instructional period, is subject to losing his or her certification. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the DSU instructor or DSU administration. In no event will a refund be given when the attendee has been tardy or absent.
